Sešity Gyotaku

Gyotaku je tradiční japonská technika založená na otisku ryb nebo jiných mořských živočichů. Vymysleli ji rybáři, kteří si tak vytvářeli věrohodné a trvanlivé záznamy rekordních úlovků, které museli prodat ještě čerstvé na rybím trhu. Je to podstatně exaktnější metoda nežli naše rozpažení s „tááákovouhle rybou“ a nejstarší zachovalé rybí a olihní tisky jsou více než 250 let staré.
Obálka sešitu nese otisk duhového pstruha na prkně a krajce.
Sešity formátu A5 s klopami šité nití vznikly spolu s kalendáři OTisk v roce 2020.

Gyotaku is a traditional Japanese technique based on the imprint of fish or other marine animals. It was invented by fishermen, who created credible and durable records of record catches, which they had to sell fresh at the fish market. It is a much more exact method than our “soak fish” spread, and the oldest preserved fish and squid prints are more than 250 years old.
